First we had three rescue sheep. Then a spinning wheel for Christmas and some lambs. Kathy re-learned to knit, learned to dye and found more sheep.
The spinner learned to make her own knitting needles and found some old wheels. The goats arrived. Spinners and knitters began to visit - and David learned to fix their wheels.
I crafted 50 reproduction "Canadian Production Wheels" and then there was the request for a truly portable wheel. The HitchHiker arrived and now has over 2500 siblings on six continents.
All the while the Great Pyrs kept watch.
The Merlin Tree is located in Vermont's beautiful "Northeast Kingdom".
A note, for those of you who knew of Jack, followed and contributed to his recovery. Jack passed this winter of '16 leaving his sister Boudicca and a big hole at the Merlin Tree.
